Step 1
Hydraulic Reservoir Sight-Glass Level:
Standard fluid and filter service requires exactly 8.0 gallons to reach the center of the sight glass. Overfilling causes foaming and oil expansion leaks through the breather cap.
Step 2
Hydraulic Cylinder & Oil Cooler Holdback:
The lift and tilt cylinders plus oil cooler lines hold approximately 2.5 gallons. Complete dry rebuilds require 10.5 total gallons.
Step 3
Chain Case Drive Reservoir Isolation:
The chain case holds 6.0 gallons. It is completely isolated from the hydraulic loop. Never fill the hydraulic reservoir attempting to lubricate drive chains.
